PART 92 / Broken Ricoh GR buy-back

Sell your broken GR.
Any fault. Any condition.

GR I · GR II · GR III · GR IIIx · GR IV

Receive a fixed purchase offer based on clear photographs and an honest description. UK cameras travel by Royal Mail and international cameras by DHL, using the tracked and insured route arranged by PART 92.

Faulty, damaged or incomplete

A specialist value.
Not a generic trade-in.

PART 92 buys broken APS-C Ricoh GR cameras from GR I through GR IV, including the GR IIIx. Lens errors, no-power faults, drop damage, broken displays, intermittent faults and incomplete parts cameras can all be considered.

This service is specifically for cameras with a genuine functional or physical fault. Fully working cameras are not purchased.

Earlier small-sensor GR Digital models are not included.

01

No power

Completely dead cameras, intermittent power, boot failures and charging faults.

02

Lens faults

Lens errors, stuck mechanisms, focus faults, clicking, grinding or impact damage.

03

Physical damage

Drop damage, broken displays, damaged controls, liquid history or previous repair attempts.

04

Parts cameras

Incomplete cameras and heavily damaged bodies can still be considered for parts recovery.

Already have an offer?

Send the evidence.
Get a better price.

Provide a current written offer from an established faulty-camera buyer. Where it is genuine and like-for-like for the same broken camera, condition and included accessories, PART 92 will offer more.

The competing offer must be current, verifiable and available to you. The camera must match the condition and contents described in both valuations. Marketplace asking prices, auction estimates and private messages without a firm purchase offer do not qualify.

How the buy-back works

Four clear steps.

  1. 01

    Send details

Choose the model, describe its condition and upload clear photographs of the camera, serial label and any damage.

  2. 02

    Receive an offer

PART 92 reviews the information and sends a fixed purchase offer. There is no obligation to accept.

  3. 03

    Tracked handover

Once accepted, PART 92 supplies the appropriate Royal Mail or DHL route, including tracking, insurance and required customs paperwork.

  4. 04

    Inspection and payment

The camera is checked against the submitted description. Once confirmed, payment is released using the agreed payment method.

If the camera differs materially from the photographs or description, PART 92 will contact you before changing the offer. You must own the camera and have the legal right to sell it.

Common questions

Before you sell.

Which broken Ricoh GR models do you buy?

PART 92 buys faulty or damaged APS-C Ricoh GR I, GR II, GR III, GR IIIx and GR IV cameras. The earlier small-sensor GR Digital series is not included.

Do you buy fully working Ricoh GR cameras?

No. This buy-back service is specifically for cameras with a genuine functional or physical fault, including intermittent faults. A fully working camera will normally achieve a better return through an ordinary private sale.

How damaged can the camera be?

Cameras with lens errors, no power, drop damage, damaged screens, broken controls, liquid history, missing parts or previous repair attempts can be considered. Clear photographs help PART 92 provide an accurate offer.

Is the offer fixed?

The written offer is fixed when the camera matches the photographs, description and included accessories. If inspection finds a material difference, PART 92 contacts you before any revised offer is applied.

How is the camera sent?

UK sellers receive Royal Mail instructions. International sellers receive a DHL route where available. PART 92 supplies the label, tracking and any required customs paperwork after the offer is accepted.

Can you beat another camera buyer's offer?

Provide a current, verifiable, like-for-like written purchase offer from an established camera buyer. If it meets the eligibility conditions and the camera matches the description, PART 92 will offer more.

When am I paid?

Payment is released after the camera arrives and inspection confirms the model, condition, ownership details and included accessories stated in the valuation request.
